New Year, New Garden Plans

Happy New Year!

2017 Highlights: Peaches from a newly planted tree provided fruit for us this year. Yum! The Over-the-Rhine People’s Garden cabbage patch produced big delicious heads, no worms! Tomatoes were the produce stars of the summer. New, colorful, hand-painted signs for the communal growing area were hung for beautification and better communication amongst the gardeners. 

Garden Coordinator Christina has been having fun this year exploring the idea of flower farming and floral design. She is excited to share that last season was such a hit that she is launching her own flower farming florist business, The Flower Lady LLC. 

Our 2018 New Year Resolution- Spend more time in the garden and enjoy more homegrown food and flowers.
